To record your greeting, follow the steps for one of the two methods:

Update Online through the Freshphone Hub:

  • Select the Voicemail option from the left menu.



  • NOTE: If you are logged in as an account administrator, you will need to go to extensions and select the desired extension first.


Step 3

  • Select the Greetings option on the right side of the screen


Step 4

  • You can listen to the greeting by pressing the play button

  • Select the three line menu if you would like to delete the recording


Step 5

  • Press the microphone button when you are ready to record your greeting.

  • NOTE: You may need to give permission for your device's microphone to be used



Update from Freshphone Talk App or Phone:


Step 1

  • Pick up your handset and dial "*98" or hit the mail button (looks like an envelope).

Step 2

  • Enter your mailbox number (typically your extension number) and the password.

    • If you do not have the password, please contact support.

      • NOTE: If you are using the default password, you will need to enter a new one or the system will walk you through the setup process again next time.

Step 3
  • Press "0" for mailbox options.

Step 4

  • Press the number corresponding to the greeting you want to record.

Step 5

  • Speak your greeting.

Step 6

  • Press the pound key "#" when finished.
