To connect your phone to Freshphone's provisioning, follow these steps:
Step 1
Determine the phone model.
Model name is located on the back of the phone on a black plate.
Step 2
For GXP1405 or GXP1625
Press the NextScr button (located directly below the screen, on the left) 3 times until IP Address displays.
For the GXP21XX series
Press the Up Button on the Directional Pad of your phone and note the IP Address.
For the GRP26XX series
Press the Center Button on the Direction Pad, then select Status, then Network Status.
Copy down the IPv4 Addr. number
Step 3
Enter ONLY your phone's IP Address into your web-browser, (Example: 192.168.1.5) and go to that destination.
Step 4
Type "admin" in the Username field. Now type the default password "admin" in the Password field and click Login.
NOTE: if you have a GRP2614 phone, the default password is located on a sticker on the underside of the phone.
If prompted to set a new password, set "admin2".
Step 5
Click the Maintenance tab (located at the top of the page) and select Upgrade and Provisioning.
Step 6
- Look for the field called Config Server Path.
Step 7
In that field, enter: provisioning.freshphone.com
Click Save and Apply.
Step 8
At the very top of the page, select Reboot. Once the message pops up, select OK to reboot the phone and apply your changes.
NOTE:If you are re-configuring a phone after a factory reset, there is no need to proceed to step 9. You may stop here.
Step 9
- Email support@freshphone.com the following information:
1) The MAC address on the back of the phone.
2) The extension number you want for the phone and who the phone will belong to (or a description of its location).
