A: Each of the voicemail greetings serve a specific purpose:
- Unavailable - Plays when calls to your extension go unanswered
- Busy - Plays when you receive a call while on another call (and Call Waiting) is not enabled
- Temporary - Plays in place of your other greetings. As long as there is a temporary greeting recorded, then the system will play this greeting in place of the Busy and Unavailable greetings
- Name - Used in place of the extension number for internal routing such as the Directory
