To connect your business extension to your personal cell phone, follow these steps:


Step 1

  • Go to your extension in the Freshphone Hub.

    • NOTE: You will need a manager login to make the request.

  • Click the Request Login Email button.



  • The email will be sent by default to the email address for your voicemail to email.

  • Wait while your request is being processed.

    • Please allow for 1 business day if this is your first time requesting a login email.

Step 2

  • You will receive an email with this image:

    • If you don't receive an email, check your spam folder



  • You MUST access the email from the cell phone you wish to use the Talk app on.

  • Follow the instructions and download the Sangoma Talk app by clicking the appropriate link for your cell phone as shown below.

Step 3

  • Once installed, go back to the email using your cell phone, and select the LOGIN NOW button.



  • The Talk app will automatically open and log you in.

    • There is no need for you to ever enter credentials, even if that screen is displayed momentarily.


Please Note

  • If your app does not log you in, then close your mail app, browser app, and Talk app and try again.

  • You can also copy the URL from the "LOGIN NOW" button and paste it into your browser address bar.



Resetting The App

  • If you are still having trouble, or if you ever need to set up the app again, reset the app by pressing the three dots for the Settings.

  • Then select Reset Application.



  • Once reset, you will see a screen that allows you to Request Login Link.
     


  • Enter your email address (the one connected to your extension), then press the button.

  • A new invite email will be sent. Make sure to access it from your phone

  • Log in from the email as normal.
